OUR MISSION
Birthing Families Foundation is a reproductive justice based charitable organization whose mission is to support vulnerable birthing families with perinatal care in the form of skilled doula services, community supports and food security. BFF provides continuing education to perinatal professionals and is working on large scale systems challenges that impact all birthing families.
BFF Programs serve the birthing community with objectives to reduce health disparities for equity deserving families (low-income, marginalized, racialized, oppressed populations and for those encountering disability, family violence, and/or addiction).

Are you looking to support equity deserving families?
Birthing Families Foundation is a Registered Canadian Charity that has been actively and successfully providing access to barrier free doula care on Vancouver Island and on the Gulf Islands since 2021.
As of February 2024, Birthing Families Foundation is getting more requests than ever for support, and we urgently need more funding to meet these requests for support.
